How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

  • Option 1: Use a Ring You Already Own

    1. Find a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you’ll wear your new ring.

    2. Measure the inside diameter in millimeters using a ruler or caliper.

    3. Use the chart below to match the diameter to your ring size.

  • Option 2: String or Paper Strip Method

    1. Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.

    2. Wrap it around the base of your finger (snug but not tight).

    3. Mark where the ends meet.

    4. Measure the length in millimeters with a ruler.

    5. Match the measurement to the circumference column in the chart below.

Tips:

  • Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest.

  • Avoid measuring when your hands are cold.

  • If between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
